I voted for #12 because I seriously think this administration feels that way. I did enjoy the furry comic as well, but I didn't let my bias get in the way. Where do I get a prescription like that? *grins*

I was talking with a coworker last week about these issues. He has a PhD in forest ecology, and he was given a small contract by the FERC to answer the question: "Do underground pipeline right-of-ways fragment forests?" He wrote a report of several pages indicating that they did, citing numerous sources in the process. A few weeks later, he received a letter back from the FERC with only this single line: "Dear ____: It is the opinion of the FERC that underground pipeline right-of-ways do not fragment forests."

*rolls eyes*

What a great idea! They should have a TV show where scientists try to compete for the development of something needed by society, but feasible, and the "idol" would win a million dollars!
